Educational purpose

The site exists to make Bitcoin proof-of-work easier to understand. The live miner can perform real mining work, but the expected chance of finding a current Bitcoin block on a normal PC is extremely small.

No reward guarantee

Mining outcomes are uncertain. The app does not guarantee that you will find a block, receive a share, earn bitcoin, cover electricity costs, or make a profit. Any block win from normal PC lottery mining would be extraordinary luck.

Hardware and electricity risk

Browser CPU mining can use electricity, create heat, increase fan noise, reduce battery life, and make a computer feel slower. You are responsible for choosing safe settings, monitoring your device, and stopping the miner if your computer becomes hot, unstable, loud, or uncomfortable to use.

Wallet safety

The app only needs a public Bitcoin payout address. Never enter a seed phrase, private key, wallet password, exchange login, or other secret credential. Anyone asking for that information in the context of a miner should be treated as unsafe.

Third-party pools and data

The app may connect to third-party mining pools and Bitcoin data providers. Those services can change, fail, reject connections, alter payout rules, or become unavailable. Review any pool's own terms before relying on it for real mining.

Content accuracy

The educational content is written to be clear and useful, but Bitcoin software, mining pools, market prices, difficulty, policies, and network conditions can change. Verify important technical or financial decisions with primary sources before acting.
